RO-NA Theater hosted a Premiere Event, VH1's show "Suave Says" Party. Ironton's own, Kathy Eicher Mejia, and her husband (the one and only, "Rico Suave"), Gerardo Mejia, star in VH1's Suave Says with their three beautiful children, Bianca, Nadia, & Jaden. Kathy, a former Miss West Virginia, and Gerardo, who rose to fame as a hit artist in the 90's, juggle their careers, family, and the kids' budding careers in a Ricky and Lucy comedic fashion (and I do mean fashion). This tight-knit family will be sure to have you laughing as they take you along for the ride, living their hectic lives.

Ironton High School's tradition of the Prom and Grand March commenced at 7 PM on the front lawn of the Ironton High School. The 2014 Junior and Senior Class of young men and women made their grand appearance at the top of the stairway and cascaded down the front steps of the school as the backdrop of the Historical marble and stone entrance stood stately in the shadows of this traditional formal event. Families and friends gathered along the red carpet to watch as the young adults paraded through the courtyard and patiently awaited the passing of the eloquent couple arm in arm only to anxiously await the announcement of the Prom King and Queen.

Excited family and friends waited and watched for a glimpse of the smiles, the young gentlemen dressed in a multitude of stylish tuxedos and young ladies wore shimmering flowing dresses like celebrities in the spotlight for the evening's events.

The couples enjoyed the paparazzi of family and friends at the end of Grand March on the Red Carpet and eagerly awaited the rest of the night's fun events.

Ashland's Central Park, near the infamous fountain square pond,was the backdrop for a beautiful Saturday filled with "memories in the making" during this photography shoot of the 2014 Prom Season. Ashland's Riverfront Landing was one of Saturday's prime locations of choice for several local Pre-prom photography sessions. An FYIAshland.com photographer caught several before the Prom pictures.Several local high school junior and seniors, who were dressed in formal attire, posed and frolicked along the riverbank. Proud parents, family and friends captured the teens' moments in the spotlight on a beautiful Spring Saturday.
